What you need to know… Part 2

Our sewing group kitty has just ordered some plain cotton fabric in three shades of blue, and some sheer organza in silver, green and blue. This is for us to share at the workshop. If we also bring along whatever we can spare from our stash we should have plenty of material to work with on July 10th!!

What you need to know for July 10th

This is all about the workshop on July 10th 2014, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. The cost is £5 per person. Claire charges £130 for a day’s workshop but the group kitty will subsidise the day. Mid-June news…

The group news is that the next date for making refuge quilts is confirmed as July 23rd — at Chalford Village Hall, 11 to 3pm as usual. There will be opportunities for hand and machine sewing, whichever you prefer. My personal news is that I have just got back from a very interesting quilt festival in the north of Holland.
