Sue discovered this 1920s quilt in a local charity shop. It’s in need of a lot of TLC and some of the colours have run slightly in the wash, but it includes some beautiful old fabrics. It has had a lot of use and if anyone out there has suggestions how to restore it we would love some tips.
The back and front have both been pieced, but it has no wadding. At some stage in its life it looks like someone roughly stitched the front and back together with a machine. This has caused a bit of ruckling [is that the word?] so maybe the first thing is to undo that stitching and see how it looks then.
